The Damascus College Energy Breakthrough Team (D.C.E.B.T) is a group of enthusiastic & dedicated students who are interested in bikes, mechanics and science. The E.B.T is more than just a hobby group that tinkers at lunch times, we work throughout the year to design, build and test vehicles within detailed specifications and to develop riders to optimum performance levels. It requires a team effort & an across-the-curriculum approach. We are very grateful for the great variety of Industry, University and Community organisations that have provided us with advice, material and financial support enabling us to reach a position of being world leaders in design, construction, race results, human development and technical innovation. We are always happy to hear from new sources of support as well as to share our learning with others. The Human Powered Vehicles (H.P.V's) and hybrids we design & build are entered into several races including the World Future Cycle Challenge & the RACV Energy Breakthrough, an endurance race in Maryborough (Victoria).
